WanderFlare is a live wallpaper for android devices and my first application published on Google Play, it is as well my first contact with shader based OpenGL programming.


A number of user have reported that nothing but the background is shown on their devices, the development of the program is currently somewhat comatose, with other things tugging at my available time, but I did experience the same symptoms a few times during the development of HAL9, and in that case it seemed to be linked with the shader program being removed/destroyed for some unknown reason. The fix, or at least the fix making the problem go away on my device consisted of checking the shader program reference every now and then and recompile and load it if something seemed iffy. If I revisit the code for this app this is something that I will do here too, although a total rewrite is probably more likely.
